I agree with Mr. Mac Donald. It would be beneficial if we could take the SS surplus out of the hands of politicians. However, I don't see that happening. A new lobby would be created to curry favor from Congress in order to convince them to use their Wall Street Brokerage for the investment of the surplus. I can forsee all kinds of graft and bribery growing out of privatization.
