Sir,

Your question insists that the proposed changes will eliminate the
assistance part of social security. I do not advocate the elimination
of any benefits, but to begin the process of paying future benefits
with current money to eliminate the insolvency problem.  I believe
that changes are necessary and will make social security viable
for the long term.  This does not take anything away.
