1)
Yes I favor a privatized system which eliminates the current systems
redistributive benefits formula.
2)
Yes under the present system some people will be forced to choose
between food, lodging, or medicine in their daily budget. ( Actually,
this will probably come down to a choice between food or more
incontinence diapers.)
3)
Yes charitable organizations will be able to fill the gap between the
needs of the poorest sector of the population and the benefits provided
by government programs.
3A) No, this should not be the solution to the problem. The solution
to the problem is as follows:
1. Eliminate the Federal Reserve System
2. Eliminate deficit spending
3. Reduce taxes to no more than 2% of GNP
4. Phase out Social Security. Let the natural societal
unit, the FAMILY, take care of their elders. Those
without families will have plenty of help from charities.
5. Reduce the Defense budget by 90%. Defense costs now
overwhelm the Federal Budget. Let the tremendous boom
brought about by the infusion of these funds into the
economy generate wealth that will support Americans of
all ages.
