I would just like to add my amazement, and slight amusement to the other
responses to Mr. Green's comments. I did not know that it was possible to
have so many failed economic policies advocated in such a short time. The
history of the world is filled with the type of socialist-like programs
that you praise, and nearly all of them have been miserable disasters, not
only for th economies of those nations, but also for the health and general
well-being of their citizens. Even Karl Marx would be aghast at most of
these proposals.
