What do you think is a fair tax rate on the rich? Did you know 5% of the taxpayers pay over 65% of all federal income taxes? Did you also know that dividends are taxed which when added to the corporate tax is a very high rate? Why tax the same income twice? If I am a share owner, I pay corporate taxes and then I pay taxes on my dividends. sounds rather dumb to me, but then one of the dumbest presidents in US history (not clinton) Kennedy iniated taxes on interest and dividends.
You sound like you want government to grow. Can you not fend for yourself? Do you want others to take care of you? I would rather we all take responsibility for our own lives and help those few who can not. What you propose is socialism. How would you like to have 70% of your income taken from you and then given back as the government deemed fit?
