I agree with Terry Greene's comment about library training.
I feel that library training opportunities should take place on the
regional level. State-wide opportunities could also be offered but
I think the troops in the trenches will be reached more effectively
regionally.
The idea of then using your (now trained) library staff for the community
training and outreach serves multiple goals of providing access to
information, assisting people to obtain and interpret information,
and provide the library (and community participants) the opportunity
to build partnerships and collaborations.
