- Subject: Improving EPA's Internet
In the course of the Dialogue, many of you have had suggestions on
how to increase the usefulness of EPA's information (and data) on
Internet and the useability of our web sites. I will be attempting
to be the moderator for this thread of the discussion for the next
few days. The comment form recaps some of the ideas participants
have suggested. Before you begin a new message, please review the
form. You can add you idea or endorse ideas already presented.
I am particularly interested in improving the /stakeholders web
pages so they will be more helpful to people who would like to
participate in environmental decision making, and to librarians
who'd like to help them. In an earlier message, I asked about
links you can suggest and I've been listing the ones I've seen from
your comments. We are adding a page of links that will be topics
driven and I want to be sure they are in terms non bureaucrats use
and would search for. We have a "Web Group" at EPA of all the web
page owners and web masters. I will share your ideas with that
group and with staff in EPA's Environmental Information Office.
Thanks for all your help and the creative thoughts I know you will
be posting in messages over the next few days. pat
