Hello, my name is Roberto Sarmiento and I am the head librarian for the Transportation Library at Northwestern University, Evanston, Il.

One of my main concerns is the access and storage of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS). We currently hold over 42,000 EIS volumes which, as you would imagine, take a lot of shelve space.

We would like to find out what the EPA and other agencies are planning to make future EISs available through the web full text and their archival plans. We are also very interested in finding out if plans are or will be prepared to digitize old EIS.
