I'm Professor of Urban Policy and Economics at the U. of Louisville, where I am also Director of the Center for Environmental Policy and Management and the Environmental Finance Center. My recent work is mostly on brownfields, and it is all too clear to me that the financing and economic development concerns seem far better informed than the community groups, without whose support brownfields redevelopment can become very difficult. So, I'm concerned about citizen access to data -- I should add that I live downwind from a heck of a large concentration of TRI sites!
