I am new to the position of 'Manager of Information Services' at a non-profit research institute in Millbrook, New York. The Institute of Ecosystem Studies Library serves 16 scientists and their support staff of about 75 people. The Institute's activities include research and education; central to the mission is the creation, dissemination, and application of knowledge about ecological systems.
