I would agree that we need to find a way to put citizens in a position of equal decision making ability with the other stakeholders. It is a helpless feeling to attend a meeting fully intending to give your input, then have a fecilitator cut you off or be so impatient that you lose your train of thought. I did not feel welcome there and it seemed that the other people attending were also treated rudely.
