  • X-topic: Introductions/Goals

I am an Information Management Specialist with the Office of Pesticide Programs at EPA. My work assignments involve the identification and application of demonstrated cost effective innovative technologies that enhance work performance. In particular, I am very interested in the use of technologies that promote the public's involvement and effective participation in timely environmental public decision making. My interest is to promote the consideration of cost effective alternative technologies that have a proven and/or very promising performance track record. Many of these technologies have already been effectively utilized in the private sector for some time such as in product marketing, staff training, brain storming, fact finding, information gathering and sharing, corporate financial reporting etc. I am interested in an evaluation of this forum's innovative participation technique. I hope this technique is the first in the consideration of many alternative approaches to come. Good Luck with these proceedings...I am very encouraged that much good will come from it!
