RE: Question 1: Quality Education

As an educator, I am so glad to see students, educators and legislators, and other citizens participating in the discussion of this important document. I concur with Ely that the language here should include transfered students. Also, we must keep in mind that we now have a larger percentage of "non traditional" students. This new pool of candidates are a rich source of potential teachers... ( I hope you understand my interest in potential teachers) and given the shortage and the great need for qualified teachers we must begin to cross reference need and resources all accross the system we are trying to strengthen.
