  • Topic: Background

I hope the public has a lot of influence in the Master Plan after it is completed, I hope we continue to be vigilant about this effort and its accountability. However, there seems to be short-term memory among the polity on this type of long term projects. Unless, Legislators, the Governor (whomever is in power), and educational leaders, make the effort to bring back the issues and commitments made in this Master Plan, the public might not remember them again. Of course there are the contractors with online projects (like this one) that might serve the function of continuing with the dialogue to elicit public participation after the current process is completed (Or, it might just be a way of creating work and wealth for some).
