Opening statement

Opening Statement:

Hi, I'm Anna Rappaport. I am sorry that I will not be able to join the
conversation until tonight.  I am very concerned that the poverty
rates of elderly women living alone are much higher than those of
married couples.  Married couples are clearly much better off.

I am interested in hearing your concerns about these groups, and
hearing ideas for helping out these groups.
