Absolutely NOT!  Why would I agree to pay more for lower returns
if any.  How about the effect on future workers?  Higher debt,
higher payroll taxes, and higher income taxes for less money, less
freedom, and less security in retirement dependent on the government
and the whim of future politicians.  A resounding NO on higher
taxes and any form thereto (i.e. means testing, age increase,
reduced benefits, reduced COLA...)  Stop the Ponzi scheme, it has
stretched to its limit!
