RE: Taxing salary over $72,600 for Social Security

<<<
I believe that a substantial proportion of that 6% who earn over $72,600 would willingly help strengthen
the Social Security system which has helped keep so many millions of people out of poverty.
>>>

This is a bitter pill to swallow, since these taxpayers will
get essentially nothing in return. A compromise might be to
give these taxpayers the ability to enhance their retirement
using existing programs.

Eliminate all income caps/restrictions on IRA's and 401Ks.
Also add a boost to the current limit of $2000 for IRA's to
a move reasonable amount, such as $7000. Remove the restiction
which prevents people from contributing to both (deductible)IRA's
and 401K's.
