Dear Sir: I don't have time to log into the web site, but jsut must say I'd e
very sorry if the redistributive aspect of social security was abandoned for
any reason, but particularly if the notion that charity would fill the gap
were to be adopted. Certainly the richest country the world has ever known
should be able to provide necessities for its retired citizens without
depending on charity. I oppose all privatization: again, I see it as another
means to enrich the already rich, including all the stockbrokers who'd profit
