Thank you for the daily summary.
I am impressed that many of you know so much about the topic of
Social Security, but I am a relative beginner. Even your daily
summary is dense and over my head.
Would you consider using concise wording and succinct summaries?
Also, you refer frequently to "process values" but do not indicate
what you mean by using that phrase. Would you please clarify?
I'm looking forward to progressing to your level over the next few
weeks. Thanks for your patience with me in the meantime.
[Moderator's Note: Thanks for your feedback on these issues.
We'll try to do a better job about making the subject more
accessible. In particular, we'll be developing more concise
versions of the daily summaries, and we'll work on putting
together a glossary of the many technical terms that sprinkle
the discussions. I've already found myself in conversations
where people are saying things to me like "What! You don't know
what a means test is?" Of course it's hard to discuss a topic when
you're unsure of the language, and it's likely that most of us are
less than expert in these technical areas.]
