Will the marriage penalty and double taxation aspects ever be resolved?
The government currently forces myself, my wife and our employers to "contribute" roughly $17K per year. That, over the length of our careers, represents a huge sum of money. We save on top of this and because we do I understand we'll get little or nothing in return from Social Security.
Can anyone tell me how I can opt out of this Marxist socialism short of getting a divorce and joining the underground economy?
I'm seriously interested in hearing your thoughts on this.
