Subject: New Question: Collaboration Opportunities Between Environmental Agencies
Someone early on in these postings mentioned that the EPA was not the only federal agency with environmental responsibilities. Some other agencies that come to mind are USDA, Forest Service, Food & Drug, NOAA, Energy, agencies within the Public Health Service, BLM, USGS, and others. In addition, within each state multiple agencies have environmental mandates.
So my question to all of you is whether you can see ways that these agencies could collaborate or cooperate in training or providing educational opportunities oriented to libraries and environmental organizations? Does the Internet present new ways of doing this? Does anyone have experiences to share of this having been done in the past?
