There is also a great movement toward CTC's or community technology 
Centers organized at the grass roots level or through a growing number
of our libraries.  PowerUp and other organizations and consortiums are 
forming to address the digital divide with access to technology.  
We have found at the Library that there is an incredible demand for
training also.  This training reaches across demographic lines.  
We have ten terminals devoted to training virtually full time.  With 
literacy activities we tried using donated equipment with adult lit
students and found many problems with keeping things running.  
The need to get technology and skills to the people is certainly grist 
for another dialog.
