Velma,
Great insight. Space limitation is a real issue, especially in
smaller communities. I think the Internet can go far to help with
this type of situation, but I guess the issue of navigating web
sites for specific documents must be simultaneously addressed.
Regarding the many different text formats available, one of the
most tried and true is the good old ASCII format. That's the version
that web sites ask for because it can be saved to most any type of
word processing system. It's not pretty, but it sure is functional.
