Sue,
Your Green Communities program (www.epa.gov/greenkit) will be
added to the inventory of Web-based resources for the American
Library Association's Libraries Build Sustainable Communities
program. EPA resources were provided in the initial materials
distributed by the ALA LBSC program, including the Decide
Tomorrow Today insert that appeared in the June/July issue of
American Libraries. This booklet is the information cornerstone
for the LBSC program, which I have described in an earlier post.
If you are not a member of ALA, you might want to find one of
your EPA library colleagues who is, and have them send you
regular updates on the LBSC program. You can also go to the LBSC
Web site ALA has created at:
http://www.ala.org/sustainablecommunities/
When the Pennsylvania LBSC workshop is held, you might want to
contact the workshop planners and help them conduct their
program.
