  • X-topic: Choice 2

Rather than working to restrict freedom and liberty, I believe that we ought to explore solutions that are more positive -- solutions that will defend our rights.

1. What is the problem that we are trying to solve?

Is it that elected officials dole out favors for people and organizations that give them money?

Is it that voters are too ignorant to make wise choices?

Is it that people want to replace our representative form of government with direct democracy?

The reason that I would like to better KNOW the problem is that the solution being discussed, "restrict freedom and liberty," does not solve any problem with which I am familiar.
