Precisely the point! So, if it's acceptable for wealthy individuals or orgainizations to have their "louder" than average free speech abilities controlled, then should not news media free press rights equally be infringed? Again, if not, then why not? Why should a free press be more important than free speech?
For example, per McCain/Feingold, if the the NRA & the Sierra Club cannot, by force of law, advertise their opinions of political candidates 30 or 60 days before a primary or general election, then should not the Detroit Free Press be restricted also from editorializing for the same period of time?
