I think that it's really sad that there is such a class division of "haves" and "have-nots" in terms of political funds. Our society is so geared towards money equaling power that many voices are kept silent because they don't have the money to advance themselves politically. Also, "having an in" or knowing somebody in the political spectrum has become important to getting involved, and this isn't always fair. Everyone should be given an equal opportunity to speak out, whether they have extensive monetary funds or not. Just because you can't afford to back a candidate with money shouldn't mean that you can't have your voice heard.
