At first before entering this forum i believed that the best way to reform the campaign finance system was to have a system of full disclosure. but as i began to think about some of the things that were said, i do feel that money limits on groups (PACs, corporation, special interests) are extremely justified to prevent buying for influence. Another point i gave serious thought to was limits on individual's contributions and whether that was a violation of a person's freedom of speech. different amounts of money donated shouldnt make one persons "freedom of speech" greater than anothers especially when that one person who dontate 500,000 in soft money has money to spare rather than the middle class citizen who only has 1,000 available to donate to any political campaigns.

Money is not speech because then people with less money would not have the same equal speech.
