Fred,

Right On! Until something is set in stone regarding Campaign Finance Reform this is all for nothing! I live in a polluter town that has been run by the polluter since it's inception (Sugar Creek, Mo.). Basically, BP/AMOCO has run this town by putting their employees on the City Council and the Mayor's office and the Chief of Police is their Security Guard. Our state and national political representives take money from the oil and gas industry, including BP/AMOCO and have not responded to our pleas for help. It's been almost 2 decades since the refinery has ceased primary operations, and EPA is so inept, they have yet to force BP/AMOCO to come up with a cleanup plan (RFI). Meanwhile BP/AMOCO continues to buy up properties in our town. Come see our Ghost town!

Janet
