  • X-topic: Permits and Rules

Verena, the interesting point about the information that should be published in the initial public permit notice ( http://www.info-ren.org/cgi-bin/network-democracy/epa-pip/show_mesg?seq=00887 ) is that almost all information is already being published. The problem is that the information is made available to the public in a fragmented and scattered manner through mumerous public notices at different times in the process.

It is difficult for the public to track a permit from start to finish through public notices because the information is so fragmented and it is difficult for the public to stay with the process. We believe by all the information being posted initially at one time, up front, the public can better track and participate in the permitting process.
