Good Morning:

After reading through today's agenda, I wanted to thank the EPA for the thourough job they did around the PCB clean-up in the Hudson River Valley, where I live. An extremely hot topic on both sides (the "perpetrator" is GE) there was a good time frame for both discussion and "arguemwent", input and review. The matter is set for recommendation later on this summer (we hope, fingers and toes are crossed)

There were public forums, a lot of education, and time for arguemnets, pro and con. Unfortunately, again, a lot of people don't seem to care unless it impacts them directly, and like I said a few days ago, even when it affects them directly some of them don't seem to care.

I know cutbacks are scheduled and some of the EPA programs could get the ax. I just hope this type of review, with the right amount of time, isn't cut.

(running hurriedly out the door to work)
Andrea
