Thanks Charlie for your boiled down recommendation for what EPA should do in involving the public - from providing information in the earliest stages of an activity to providing specific feedback after decisions are made.

As Pat Bonner mentioned earlier, we are collecting all of the great recommendations that everyone is providing through this dialogue and plan to create a strategy for (among other things) training EPA staff on how to effectively involve the public in decisions. That strategy will likely be released for public comment this fall, and we'd like to get everyone's input on that as well.

As Sue van Patton asked, please continue to send in your recommendations. They are indeed helpful as we figure out how to improve EPA's public involvement activities.
