Dialogues

Thank you for providing a format for those of us not normally included in education policy discussions to express our opinions.  As a teacher, I am responsible for executing the decisions made by planners, but have no say in how the decisions are made.  I often find myself asking, "Did the person responsible for this requirement ever spend time in an inner city classroom?"  I and many of my colleagues feel excluded from the decision making process that governs how and what we are required to teach.  This discussion is a beginning step in providing us with input into the decision making process
