I am wondering how one would decide on what would be worthy of funding if you measured a direct connection between education and employment. What about artist and those in the humanities who don't really have a distinctive roadmap to employment? How do you measure their success, some times it takes years to just ‘get a break.' It would be nice to have guidance and assistance with work study/internships and other avenues from the public sector to plug potential workers into positions too, but how far do you go? Many position are seasonal or project oriented. Also, how do you take into account that some people maybe excellent at school work when they are told what to do, but lack personality traits that would get them the higher paying ‘upper management' careers. How does this work in other states?
