RE: Grounding Tenet for Learning
MARILYN LANGLOIS: OF COURSE I AGREE WITH YOUR 'Some of the most important questions our young people face as they grow up are questions that have more than one right answer. How are we preparing them to face such questions confidently and enthusiastically? It won't work if they're used to being told what to do every step of the way.' THE BEST (IF NOT ONLY) WAY TO PREPARE STUDENTS TO BECOME COMFORTABLE AND FAMLIAR WITH CHAOS AND AMBIGUITY IS TO PROVIDE EACH OF THEM A HEALTHY SENSE OF THEMSELVES, HER/HIS OWN WHOLENESS, FROM WHICH FOUNDATION EACH WILL READILY AND CONSTRUCTIVELY APPROACH SUCH CHALLENGES OF LIFE. |
