MARILYN LANGLOIS: AGAIN, YOU AND I ARE KINDRED SPIRITS, AS SHOWN
BY YOUR SUPPORT OF A 'positive learning environment. If students
feel fearful, harrassed, demeaned, isolated, or inferior, it's
unlikely they'll be excited about learning.
THAT'S WHY I'VE AUTHORED SB1667 WHICH PROPOSES A CHANGE OF SCHOOL
CULTURE SO AS TO 'PREVENT SCHOOL VIOLENCE' - INCLUDING 3 VITAL
COMPONENTS: ASSURING EACH CHILD A SAFE PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT,
PROVIDING EACH CHILD A WARM NURTURING EMOTIONAL ENVIRONMENT, AND
PROVIDING EACH CHILD RESILIENCY SKILLS.

'Teaching people of all ages to respect, honor and value
each other, and to work together collaboratively should be
essential components of any master plan for education.'
OF COURSE! AND THAT IS WELL ADDRESSED BY LEGENDARY PETER YARROW'S
CRUSADE TO 'STOP SCHOOL BULLYING' - HIGHLIGHTED BY THE SONG,
'DON'T LAUGH AT ME!'
