Taxing Benefits


Let's talk about taxing benefits. If you have a pension, it is subject to 
tax. With Social Security, only a portion of the benefits are taxed, 
depending on your other income. Why not make all benefits subject to 
taxation? It will help the trust fund, and the financial burden would fall 
only on those best able to pay. Most retirees do not have enough income to 
pay federal taxes, and wouldn't be affected. Let's have your thoughts.
