The Great Ponzi Swindle Scheme.

For you who are mystified by the term "Ponzi", watch the History
Channel on TV.  It was aired often in Jan. 99. Not very often since
then. But, reruns do rerun. Like Gen. D. McArthur, it shall return.
Just watch the TV schedule.  It is a one hour show, but I taped
it, cutting out the commercials. I wish I could sell it, but I
can't. If you see this program you will have a much better
understanding of SocSec. The SocSec home page recently had a myth
debunking section, "proving" that SocSec is not a Ponzi scheme.
They said that Ponzi had to get continuously more people into the
system. SS does not have to do that.  But, SS started out, by law,
forcing almost all workers to contribute taxes. SS has had to
increase SS taxes at ten times the rate  of inflation. And now, in
1999, we are in an impossible, unsustainable system. Re even Alan
Greenspan.  This forum needs to be continued until more logic
prevails.
