RE: widows' benefits

My husband and I marrried over thirty years ago not giving a thought
to our seventeen year age difference. Now I am in my fifties and
ill, and he is going to be seventy this year. We get along just
great, but what will happen to me if he dies before I can collect
widows' benefits which I understand is at age sixty now. If the
age is raised I am out?
