You say California doesn't have the resources and call for
libraries to have up to date technology. Many of the
government websites that I see seem to have spent too
much money on the interface and not enough on the
content. If gov't agencies would focus on the content
instead of uneeded interface glitz, they'd save money
that could be used to bolster their resources and
help bridge the digital divide by not making it necessary
for libraries and eveyone else to have up to date
technology. Just plain old html, rather slow computers,
and 56k modems will do the trick if the focus is on
quality content.
