Well, this discussion is already impressive and immeasurably
educational. I'm thrilled to be able to listen and participate in
this unprecedented online dialogue. I am a professional librarian
(worked most of my career in tribal libraries and with Native
communities) engaged in building a library for the public here in
northern NM dedicated to ecological and sustainability issues. We
are a newly formed nonprofit organization and the name of the
library is the Millennial Library. We are in a very formative stage
and so this dialogue comes at a very opportune time. We are interested
in building partnerships and networks with those like-minded
individuals doing similar work and want to collaborate in creating
new ways of providing access to such important information as we
are discussing. All levels of our communities need access to this
sort of information, individuals, nonprofits, government, tribes,
children...  Thank you very much to all of you for this opportunity.
