To Dinese Hood; "Why not McCain Feingold?" I wish it luck. It certainly seems like a good start. But I'm afraid it will get so many "ornaments" hung on it that it will be innefective. I also have an incredible faith in the ingenuity of people to figure a way to circumvent the most ingenious laws.

Short of public financing (ala Maine) I'm betting on election system reform; IRV for a start (Instant Runoff Voting) that will accomplish many of the same benefits sought via campaign finance reform.
