Oh, boy. It appears that the politicians are uncomfortable with reform and worry that if it passes, their ability to raise funds dies. How can reform be constructed so they will quit worrying about where all the money they currently need will come from or somehow reduce their monetary needs? If they can not be convinced they won't go to the poor house in attempting to continue their career, perhaps this reform once again will die.
