I share Mr. Cameron's feelings. There is an inherent weakness in the political arena regarding money. Often times, the best and most able candidates are ignored for those who have more money or wield greater power. I feel that it is this problem which ultimately tears at the threads of the political process. This issue also raises many questions. Are we, the citizens of the United States, getting the best possible leadership? Is money ultimately controlling our choices. As a student of democracy, I want the most capable leader making decisions, I do not want the richest man making my decisions. If the richest our the most influential are to make my decisions in the political structure, I know that there is a problem because I am not getting a fair vote; my vote is not ultimately dependent on my beliefs and who I am as an individual, but it will be based on who is the richest or holds the most power.
