The International Association for Public Participation holds an annual conference each year. The next one in May 2002 in the United States with the site to be announced soon. A variety of resources are available to members and much information is also posted on the public web site at http://www.iap2.org. I encourage everyone to check it out, see what's there, and see what this organization has to offer. Members range from agency staff to consultants to community activists and more, all sharing a deep interest and values in the practice of public participation.
