Welcome to the National Dialogue on Public Involvement in EPA Decisions.
Today's topic is "Required Public Comment and Consultation on Permits and Rules". We are interested in your feedback on how EPA can improve public involvement in making permitting decisions. We are particularly interested in your suggestions on how EPA can encourage groups from outside Washington to participate in national rulemakings and policy development and how EPA can obtain more input from small businesses when making permitting and regulatory decisions.
Today's meeting is being hosted by EPA's Office of Air and Radiation. Several participants will be available to review comments and answer questions. We appreciate your participation and look forward to hearing your suggestions.
