Sam....
I like your button idea and see the possibilities it could open for us. Maybe after a click on Comment we could give people a choice ... not a menu, two ways to go... one that would be to a menu of items open for formal public comment and the other for submitting questions or comments that are not specific to an item with an open formal comment period. This would take a lot of coordination and thought, not to mention consultation with web people and lawyers to ensure security, privacy and more.

Today, at the bottom of the EPA home page there is the word "Comment," but it is definitely not a highly visible button. If you click on the word Comment, you move to a page that looks much better that what follows will.

Report Data Errors (link) - Notify EPA of data errors found on the EPA Web site. In your notification, please try to be as specific as possible and to include the URL where you found the error. Your notification will be sent to the Data Steward who can assist in getting the information corrected.

International Requests (link)- If you are visiting EPA from outside the USA, the staff of INFOTERRA (link)can help you find EPA information.

Technical Problems (link)- EPA's Internet Technical Support can assist you if you are experiencing technical problems with EPA's web site, FTP, downloading files, etc.
