  • X-topic: Information

As a lifelong Republican, I am ashamed that the party feels it must vigorously attack any environmental program. Unfortunately, they never learned their lesson from 1994, when the public stood up and had to "explain" the importance of the environment.

What we need is a concerted effort to educate health insurance companies on the affects of a bad environmant on health and the potential costs as chemical companies release more endocrine-changers into the environment. This alone would solve a plethora of political and financial issues.

Finally, we must break-down the attitude that what wwe buried in the 50's and 60's is "safe and sound" where it is. Sooner-or-later it is bound to get into the groundwater.
