  • X-topic: Information

I work with the California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD) We work with 103 local districts in California. These RCDs provide information and work with local ranchers and farmers.

My experience shows that to work with the Ag community you must be able to relate to their problem and issue. When information is provided it can't just be justb on the web, electronic or written. All methods of communication is needed but the biggest is you must be respected and understand their and your issues.

Much of the information provided by EPA is in the regulatory contect so their for not recieved by the producers and land owners. You need to get direct assistance to those who live on and operate the private lands.
