When we were developing the purpose of the draft policy, the goals for public involvement processes and how, generally, Agency officials will achieve the purpose and goals,we tried to build a comprehensive foundation for the Policy. The bulleted lists you see are based on personal experiences in planning and conducting public involvement,our own participation in issues we care about,and what people who participate in EPA's decision making processes told us works well or needs fixing. Are the purposes and goals clear? Have we missed anything that you believe should be part of this section of the Policy? Can you suggest any additional points to include re: achieving the purpose and goals?
